The challenge
XPO's ageing software had become a liability. The legacy systems underpinning around twenty trade shows a year had no viable path forward, and every event carried the operational risk of tooling that could no longer be safely extended.
What we built
We rebuilt the software infrastructure from the ground up: a custom web platform for exhibition management, a mobile check-in app, and a kiosk scan app, all wired into integrated backend systems. Offline mode keeps check-in and scanning working reliably on the show floor, where connectivity is never guaranteed.
The result
The platform and apps are live and in the fine-tuning phase, giving XPO a modern, cohesive system to run their shows on. The rebuild removes the legacy risk while setting up frictionless visitor and exhibitor experiences, less admin time, and ongoing cost savings as the platform matures.
