The challenge
Flowdeck's computational fluid dynamics engine was powerful, but the experience around it wasn't. A rudimentary interface and manual infrastructure processes held the product back, and the compute-intensive nature of CFD demanded resources that could scale up and down on demand rather than being managed by hand.
What we built
We built a clean, modern web application backed by a fully automated infrastructure management system. It spins up high-performance compute instances, deploys Dockerised simulation environments, monitors execution, and scales resources back down on completion — all without manual AWS intervention.
The result
Automating the delivery layer let Flowdeck's simulation engine shine, pairing serious computational capability with a modern, self-managing platform. The system unlocked the next stage of the product's evolution while removing the operational overhead of running infrastructure by hand.
